• Exhibitions and displays of work
• The collection of artefacts, books, paintings, photographs and maps of the Island
• Through the Barreau Art Scholarship the encouragement of contemporary art by young Islanders

Mr Anthony said that the Société, which has over 3,500 members, will continue to campaign against perceived threats to Jersey's built and natural environment. It is prepared to take a more active approach should its concerns fall on deaf ears.
