St. Anthony's campus was built in 1887. The school merged into Community Catholic School in 1978 along with St Cecilia School and Our Lady of the Port Academy the school was housed at the St. Cecilia Campus. St. Anthony's campus was added to the National Register of Historic Places

in 1982. Community Catholic closed in the 2003-2004 school year. In 2011 the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville closed the church, the parish boundaries were adsorbed into Good Shepherd Parish.
