 with a creative writing degree. His first full-length book of poems, Torched Verse Ends, appeared in 2009 from BlazeVOX [books].

His writing has appeared in New England Review, The Journal, Verse, Beloit Poetry Journal, Barrow Street, Pleiades, River Styx, The Laurel Review, Copper Nickel, Court Green, The National Poetry Review (where he won the Laureate Prize), Cimarron Review, The Southeast Review, 32 Poems, Barn Owl Review, diode, and Verse Daily.

He edits the online journal Anti-, previously edited The Eleventh Muse for the Poetry West organization in Colorado Springs, and works as a Certified Professional Résumé Writer. He lives in St. Louis.
