The Swedish Transport Worker's Union (abbreviated to Transport) was created in 1897 and is today part of the Swedish Trade Union Confederation
(referred to as LO in Sweden). The union
has today 72 000 members who work in many different fields, such as:

There are 30 local chapters around Sweden that assists members. The union leader is Per Winberg.
