Teledifusão de Macau is a radio
-television network
serving the Chinese special administrative region of Macao
. It was established on 1 January 1982 during Portugese administration.
TDM offers 24-hour analogue radio
services under the callsign of Rádio Macau, in Portuguese
on 98.0 MHz FM and Cantonese and Mandarin on 100.7 MHz FM.
It also offers terrestrial analogue television
services: Canal Macau
(Channel Macau) in Portuguese, and Macau TV
(Chinese

TDM is the only company responsible for the provision of public radio and television, creating channels in Chinese and Portuguese TV and radio signal open in Macao. But most Macao residents also receive broadcasts from other sources, including both TVB
and ATV
in Hong Kong, which is accessible in most parts of Macao. The ratings for TDM would suffer as a result. In 2007, these subsidies amounted to nearly 73 million Patacas, while the revenue was valued at about 36 million Patacas. The cost of the company is large, so TDM presented in 2007 only one positive result of 45 thousand Patacas. In late 2007, the company had 371 employees.
In one of the channels, TDM displays programs in Portuguese coming from the retransmission of RTP Internacional, plus some local news that typically last about 15 minutes. On Sunday mornings, the Catholic mass is broadcasted live at the Igreja da Sé. TDM also maintains a radio channel in Portuguese, "Radio Macau" with a broadcast of its own production from 7h to 20h. Since that time, Radio broadcasts in the programming of chain-RDP Antena 1. Radio Macau sends twelve o'clock local news, in addition to music programs and information throughout the 13 hours of issuance itself.
In 2008, it was confirmed that the TDM will broadcast live the Olympic Games in Beijing and will focus more on the production itself.

The Cantonese and Mandarin service of Rádio Macau is also 24-hours, with total local programme outputs.
Local programmes on Canal Macau broadcast from around 19:00 on weekdays until 01:00, and longer hours at weekends. Programmes from Portugal

Mass is broadcast live on Sunday mornings at the Igreja da Sé. These make Canal Macau a 24-hour television service.
Transmissions of Macau TV Station are divided into three major blocks. Breakfast news is broadcast from 07:15 to 09:00 on Mondays to Saturdays; afternoon and prime time programmes from around 12:30 until about 01:30. Transmissions may begin earlier on Sundays, and are longer for live coverage of matches such as the English FA Premier League
or the Italian Football Championship
. At other times when programmes are not transmitted, continuous financial information from Reuters
will be displayed, with the broadcast of Rádio Macau on 100.7 MHz FM as the background sound.
As of September 2010, Macau TV

TDM is the company responsible for the provision of public radio and television broadcasting in open signal in the Macao Special Administrative Region. The company was founded on January 1, 1982 under the name of the Society of Television and Broadcasting of Macao was a Portuguese state-owned enterprise with independent management.
