Thomas P. Dooley

Thomas P. Dooley, PhD, is the author of Praying Faith,(1) Hope When Everything Seems Hopeless,(2) and Half-Truths are Lies,(3). He is the founder and President of Path Clearer Inc., and has been a co-founder and/or board member of various Judeo-Christian ministries and other nonprofit organizations. He is a frequent guest contributor to television, radio, and print media, and is a regular guest on syndicated "Life Perspectives" Radio.
Dr. Dooley is a biomedical research scientist and has served in various leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and in academia. He was the Founder and CEO of IntegriDerm Inc. and ALtruis LLC, and the recipient of an endowed chair position at Southern Research Institute. He received a BS degree from the University of Kansas
and a PhD from Indiana University

Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, England. He has authored 65 scientific publications, primarily in the disciplines of molecular biology, dermatology, and oncology.(4) Dr. Dooley is an inventor of various technologies and the recipient of ten patents(5) and various professional awards and honors. For instance, he was responsible for the discovery and development of DermArray and PharmArray DNA microarray products, melanocyte tyrosinase inhibitors for use as skin lighteners, and made significant research contributions to Minoxidil (Rogaine) and other topical drugs such as Vascana that is currently in development by MediQuest Therapeutics Inc.
In 2010 Dr. Dooley was a Republican candidate/nominee for the Alabama State Board of Education, District 4.
