Huston was Captain in the 16th Regiment of Engineers (Railway) Company A, Trained in Detroit, Mi at the Michigan State Fairgrounds, August 1917, Arrived in France, became commander of 16th Regiment of Engineers Spring of 1918 with rank of Lt. Colonel. Discharged May 1919. He died on March 29, 1938, in Darien, Georgia
