Today the breakwaters at both sides of the islet of Kåja form a snug port at the threshold of the big seas. At Kåja the Vanna fish processing plant, «Torsvågbruket», is localised and at the top of Koja the Torsvåg Lighthouse is localised. Today Torsvåg only has between 10 and 20 inhabitants, but throughout history many a person has set their foot in this fishing village.
