Udo Z. Karzi

Udo Z. Karzi is an Indonesian writer. He graduated from Department of Government Science Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP) University of Lampung (1996).
He called the original writer Zulkarnain Zubairi write this poem, short story, and essays in various local and national media since 1987. Had become Chairman of the Board of Research and Development of Lampung Art Council (R & D DKL) (2005-2006).
Considered to bring renewal in the tradition of Lampung poetries as seen in the rhythm-Indonesian bilingual Lampung: Momentum (Lampung Education Office, 2002), he called the "father of modern poetry Lampung".
His book of poetry, Mak Dawah Mak Dibingi (BE Press, 2007) won the 2008 Rancage Literary Award for Lampung literature.
