between 1989 and 1995 before being relegated, where they have never reached the top-flight again.
União da Madeira currently play their home games at the Campo do Adelino Rodrigues
, having returned there in 2008, following a nomadic existence that saw them travel between their previous official home, the Estádio dos Barreiros
, and regional stadiums spread across the island of Madeira. The current chairman is Diogo Ramos Andrade and the current manager is João Abel.
