Uqbah ibn Abu Mu'ayt

Uqba ibn Abu Mu'ayt (died 624) was a member of the Quraish tribe.
He had two children, both becoming Muslims: Walid ibn Uqba
and Umm Kulthum bint Uqba.
Uqba assaulted Muhammad because he was preaching monotheism
He also constantly ridiculed Muhammad when the latter was preaching in Mecca
. On one occasion, Uqba spat on Muhammad's face at the incitement of his friend Ubay ibn Khalaf

Muhammad said about him, "What an evil man you were. By Allah, I don't know a man who was a disbeliever in Allah, His Book and His Messenger like you and you harmed the Prophet of Allah. So, I praise Allah, the One who has killed you and has pleased my eyes by seeing you die!"
