Women's EHF Cup

The Women's EHF Cup is an official competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It takes place every year, from September to May. It was first organized by the European Handball Federation
(EHF) in 1993. Teams can qualify for the EHF Cup either directly due to high ranking at their domestic league or by being eliminated at certain stages of the EHF Champions League.
divided into seven rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Eight-finals, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Final. For each round, participants are drawn into pairs. Teams play against each other in two legs, home and away, with the winner being determined by the aggregate score.
The number of teams competing at the first three rounds can vary from one season to another. The 2008/09 edition had 22 teams in Round 1, 40 in Round 2 and 32 in Round 3.
European Handball Federation
The European Handball Federation is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded in November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and one associated member , and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria...
