Yateesh M. Acharya is a Ghazal
and Bhajan
singer. Classically trained, with over three decades in the field of music, Yateesh’s repertoire also includes the traditional Thumari, Dadra and Sufi songs and the earthly Mand and Folk songs.
, Yateesh took early lessons in classical music from Pt Mahendra Dixit and Pt J. S. Hada, Pt Mahesh Chandra Sharma, Ustad Hifzul Kabir (Katani), Ustad Sarwat Hussain Khan (Bhopal), Late Ustad Rahat Ali Khan (Gorakhpur), Ustad Zameer Ahmed Khan and Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan (Delhi).
His passion for Ghazals was stoked during his teens by the renditions of Ustad Mehdi Hassan
and Ustad Hussain Bux Gullo.
In recent times Yateesh has lent his voice to several successful South Indian films dubbed in Hindi, such as, Raja Harishchandra, Ram-Katha, Paduka Pattabhishekam, Navgrah Naykal, Moudri Karan, Om Ganeshay Namah, Soorya Putram etc. and few TV serials like Tadap and Sainik besides composing music for various Ghazal

Yateesh, the son of renowned poet Shri B. M. ‘Madhur’, grew up in Kota (Rajasthan)
and has a Masters in Computer Application.
His album "Dooriya" , "Saibhajan", "Classical Ghazals" is going to be release this year.
