He married Arzu in 1986 and has three children; Hacı Sabancı (born 1987), Hakan Sabancı (born 1991), and Kerim Sabancı (born 1996). Hacı, a graduate of Saint Benoît Fransız Lisesi, is currently studying business administration in Tufts University
