Øyvind Heian was a Norwegian politician and the parliamentary leader of Norwegian Patriots

In November 2005, Heian announced that he was a member of the far right

. As a result of this, he lost his job at MTU Link.
Heian also used to be a member of the Norwegian Progress Party, but he resigned when he claimed the party started to be non-political.
During the election in Norway in 2009, the Norwegian Patriots received 183 votes. At 23 September 2009, Heian went out to the public and announced that his party should be closed down. Heian then started to study psychology
