My boyfriend went fishing a lot this summer in Logan County ,Chapmanville,WV in the river. He caught some good sized fish like drums, catfish,carp, bass, but never a bluegill or sunfish. He caught a fish that we weren't sure of at the time, but now we know what it was. We froze it in the freezer going to use it for catfish bait later on. I saw the same fish as he caught on a tv show, it was a silver colored piranha fish. I am positive of this 100% and I know fishermen stories of how things get bigger of a tale every time that they are told, but this is not one of them i assure you. How did this fish get in a wv river, and how did it survive? I've never seen anything like this ever,and I'm sure it wasn't a gar fish 100% piranha fish!
Can someone tell me about how this came to be.
