Charles Wendell "Chuck" Colson (born October 1931) was the chief counsel for President Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1973, during which he organized the burglary of a psychiatrist's office that developed into the Watergate scandal. After being convicted of obstruction of justice he went on to serve a seven-month prison term. While in prison he converted to Christianity and he emerged as a public speaker, author, founder of Prison Fellowship, and chairman of the Wilberforce Forum.
