1975 Knockout Carnival
Encyclopedia
The 1975 Knockout Carnival was the 19th Australian National Football Carnival, an Australian rules football
interstate competition .
The carnival was due to take place in Melbourne but as it would have interrupted the 1975 VFL season
the organisers made a shortened version. Just three games were to be played, with two semi finals and a final. The semis were played in Melbourne but the final, where the VFL defeated South Australia, was contested in Adelaide. The other two states who took part were Tasmania and Western Australia. Unlike with the previous carnivals no All-Australian team or Tassie Medal
ist was chosen.
