The 1999 Miami Dolphins season was the 34th year of existence for the Miami Dolphins
franchise. The year saw the team struggling with the end of Dan Marino
's career. Although they made the second wild card spot with a 9–7 record, and managed to upset the Seattle Seahawks
in the Wild Card round, they were humiliated by the Jacksonville Jaguars
in the Divisional round in the most lopsided playoff game of the Super Bowl era.
