Game 1

The MLB opened the series with a 7–2 win at the Tokyo Dome. Roger Clemens pitched 4⅔ innings while giving up 2 runs on 4 hits. He walked 5 and struck out 4. He departed with the MLB trailing 2–0. But they came back with clutch hits from Brad Wilkerson, Carl Crawford, and Miguel Cabrera.
