The final, with a predictable line-up of Canada against Iroquois was one of the most amazing matches in box lacrosse history. Although Canada went trough first period with 4-2 lead, Iroquois were able to reverse the score in next period. Both teams were heading to final quarter with score 9-10 to Iroquois. Three early Canada goals brought them again in front, but they were quickly answered by another three Iroquois goals. John Grant, Jr. then scored to goals and the victory for Canada was so close.
