The TAC Cup is an under 18 Australian rules football representative competition held in Victoria, Australia. It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing 12 Victorian regions....
season commenced on 4 April and concluded on 25 September. For the first time the Gold Coast Football Club competed in the competition fielding its junior squad. It was the 18th season of the TAC Cup competition. The season consisted of 20 home and away rounds with each team playing 18 home and away matches and 4 rounds of finals, culminating in the 2009 TAC Cup Grand Final which determined the 2009 TAC Cup premiers.
