 The teams will play each other three times in contrast to four times last season. The weekend of 19 & 20 February the games to be played in the third round are decided by lottery.

Format

The eight teams played each other three times. Once away, once home and a third leg either away or home determined on a lottery-system before the season. The champion qualified to the UEFA Women's Champions League. There was no relegation system in place.
