The Walleye made their first signing of the 2010–11 season on July 13, re-signing forward Sal Peralta. The Walleye continued the following day, re-signing forward Scooter Smith and signed free agent forward Mike Walsh, who had played the previous two seasons with the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins. A fourth and fifth signing came a few days later, as Toledo re-signed defenceman Kyle Page and signed free agent forward Dominic Osman, who had started the 2009–10 season with Toledo before being traded to the Florida Everblades
