In round 10 against the Magic, Finau Pulu became the first player this season to be sent off court for persistent infringing late in the second quarter. This infringement lasted for the next three goals scored by either team. Despite having six players on court, the Tactix managed to score three goals in a row. This is the third send off in ANZ Championship history with the first happening to the Tactix side where former Tactix player Larissa Willcox got sent off in 2009 and Maria Tutaia from the Mystics got sent off in 2010.
Currently, the Tactix have lost Kasey Evering and Phillipa Finch due to injury.

Summary
This season, the Tactix made changes to their squad and gained Kasey Evering (Jamaican international) and Donna Wilkins (out of retirement). Despite these changes, the Tactix lost their first five matches by nine goals or less. One of these matches included a draw after regulation time against the Magic. Their 17 match losing streak ended by defeating the Steel by 5 goals.In round 10 against the Magic, Finau Pulu became the first player this season to be sent off court for persistent infringing late in the second quarter. This infringement lasted for the next three goals scored by either team. Despite having six players on court, the Tactix managed to score three goals in a row.
