The 2011 West Coast Fever season is the fourth season that the West Coast Fever
are contesting the ANZ Championship
, and the fifteenth year of the franchise's competitive history. In 2011, the Fever will be coached by Jane Searle in her third year as head coach.

In round 2, the Fever defeated the Tactix, a team that featured Donna Wilkins and Jamaican defender Kasey Evering.
In round 6, the Fever defeated the Steel at home and prevented them from winning in Australian soil.
However, in rounds 7 and 9, they failed to defeat the Magic and Mystics at home by one and two goals respectively. This led to the Magic winning in Australia three times and the Mystics first ever win in Australia.
The Fever also had an upsetting loss to the Pulse after missing out on a chance to get the lead in the final minute, the game went into overtime. Unfortunately, the Fever loss after overtime. This match meant that Agbeze was on the losing team twice whenever the Fever and Pulse played together (in 2008, the match was called off).
Despite their setbacks, the Fever nearly upset the Firebirds in Brisbane when they had a seven goal advantage against them only to lose by two goals in round 11.
In round 12, the Fever prevented their round 11 scenario from happening again and defeated the reigning premiers, the Thunderbirds by five goals. Not only was this their first win against the Thunderbirds, but it also meant they defeated the reigning champion team again (they defeated the Swifts in 2009 and Vixens in 2010). In addition, this meant that all five Australian teams have defeated each other at least once.

Pre-season

Summary
The Fever were considered to be one of the worst teams in the ANZ Championship. However, the Fever have started to gain form, experience and players that have represented the Diamonds, youth championship and even the Fastnet series. With the tallest goal keeper (Susan Fuhrmann) and one of the tallest goal shooters (Caitlin Bassett), the Fever were there to cause upsets. Despite losing Madison Browne to the Vixens, the Fever regained Ama Agbeze from the Pulse.In round 2, the Fever defeated the Tactix, a team that featured Donna Wilkins and Jamaican defender Kasey Evering.
