will be the 45th
season (44th of play) for the National Hockey League
franchise that was established on June 5, 1967, and 19th season (18th of play) since the franchise relocated to Dallas to start the 1993–94 NHL season.
The Stars will attempt to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs
for the first time since the 2007–08 NHL season.
