coworkers Ray and "Bad" Larry learn that Stan
has never actually assassinated anyone; his previous victims are killed at the last second from causes other than Stan's bullets. He is labeled as a "killing virgin" by his fellow covert buddies. When news of this spreads by Roger, the rest of the Smiths display mixed reactions to Stan as a non-killer: Steve

is proud of him, Klaus loses faith (again), and Francine
seems turned off sexually.
Roger, along with Ray and Larry, seek to help Stan find his first victim, his "one". Stan attempts to kill people at bars and poison a group of alien fanatics, to no avail. A child molester named Randy moves into the neighborhood and takes prurient interest in Steve and his friends, whom willingly walk into his van as a means to mock at Stan's inability to kill others. Stan, Ray, and Larry track them down at a water park, Randy's former workplace. When Stan attempts to arrest Randy, Randy notes he would get bailed from prison quickly because he has a good lawyer and his mother is rich. Stan decides that this is unacceptable and shoots him. Due to his horrific aim, however, he accidentally shoots Larry. When the dying cohort commends Stan, Stan realizes he found his "one", and the rest of the family's views on Stan return to normal.
