History

A small company was established by Mohammed Al-Ajlouni in 1993 under the name Jordan Multimedia Productions (JMP). Mohammad Al Ajlouni, the network's CEO, benefited from his position as a Middle East Operations’ Manager for the huge American Corporation ABC

 in the United States. Al Ajlouni saw a future for improving the broadcast and media production in the Middle East, where The market seemed to be almost closed for new entrants. Al Ajlouni started only with one camera, Uplink

 services were exclusive to the Jordan TV, and no other private companies were not allowed to offer uplink services.

This situation quickly started to change however when Al Ajlouni was able to acquire the rights to provide uplink services for private satellite channels. He managed to expand JMP operations and in 2003 established ABS network as an International leading Network.
