Aavishkaar

Aavishkaar is the annual technical fest conducted by the IEEE Student Branch at M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
Aavishkaar was started in 2004 by the IEEE MSRIT Student Branch. It saw participation from about 800 students from across India
. Aavishkaar set a very high standards for all other fests to follow. Also, with a strong corporate backing, Aavishkaar offered a good prize money for the events.
The April 2006 fest had events such as: Project Exhibition, Paper Presentation, On-the-spot programming, Circuit designing & debugging and Tech Quiz. The 2007 fest planned additional events such as Amazing Race, where teams build circuits incrementally, by discovering clues and Cyber Hunt, where teams race against time and each other to crack a series of puzzles.
In the year 2010 the fest was a great Success with deccanhearld covering the event.
The April 2011 fest is back with greater enthusiasm. The various events to be held are:
