Abdalla Eltayeb was born in Sudan
, in Temirab in the west of Damer City (2 June 1921 - 19 June 2003), His father is Eltayeb Abdalla Eltayeb and his mother is Aisha Galal Eldeen.
He studied he's primary educations in Kasala, Damer and Barbr, He had graduated from Gordon Memorial College, High schools, Educational Institute (Bakht Elrida), London University "College Of Education", the Institute of Oriental and African Studies and Received a Ph.D. from the University of London (SOAS) in 1950.
He worked as a professor in Omdurman eligibility university, Gordon memorial college, Bakht Elrida university, Khartoum university college, Khartoum University and many others universities and colleges, He was selected as a dean of Faculaty of Arts in Khartoum University (1961–1974), After that he was been chosen to be the Director of the University of Khartoum
(1974–1975), He was been the first Director of Juba university (1975–1976), He's the founder of Bayrou Kano college in Nigeria and its now a university.
