In the city the population was spread out with 26.4% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 28.6% from 25 to 44, 23.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.8 males.

As of the 2010 census Aberdeen had a population of 14,959. The ethnic and racial composition of the population was 56.4% non-Hispanic white, 30.5% black or African American, 0.4% Native American, 2.9% Asian, 0.3% Pacific Islander, 0.2% non-Hispanics reproting some other race, 5.3% reporting two or more races and 5.4% Hispanic or Latino.

The Village of Aberdeen
