Academic Colleges Group is a private company operating independent schools in New Zealand and Asia. The Group comprises a total of 10 schools in three countries with over 5000 students and 500 staff members. ACG's educational services encompass pre-school learning through to university level. The schools are secular, uniformed, co-ed and offer the University of Cambridge International Examination system as their primary syllabus.

and the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) through their curriculum and assessment programmes.

The idea was backed by financial advisers, including Danny Chan and Ian King, who contributed to the education business development. All the founders had worked in education at school or university level.
In 1995, ACG Senior College and ACG New Zealand International College were opened. After these two openings, the impetus was provided for the founding of a specialist school for a younger age group and ACG Parnell College (formerly ACG Junior College), opened in 1998. In 2001, ACG Strathallan was established in Karaka. This facility provides education through the Strathallan Infant Preschool Centre (for infants and children from the age of three months to two years), Strathallan Preschool (ages two to five), Strathallan School (Years 1 to 6) and Strathallan College (Years 7 to 13). ACG International Schools were opened in Jakarta in 2005 and in Ho Chi Minh in 2007.

ACG New Zealand International College has been endorsed by The University of Auckland, which uses the school's approach for its Foundation Studies Certificate which has since seen thousands of international students gain entry in to New Zealand universities.
