Bailey was one of the Big 12's top newcomers after transferring from South Mountain Community College taking over the starting duties in right field, hitting .325 with 12 homers and 50 RBIs in 52 games. He led the Huskers in homers, RBIs, slugging percentage (.598), hits (63), doubles (15) and total bases (116). He finished with 17 multi-hit games and a team-high 11 multi-RBI efforts. Adam saw time on the mound, going 1-0 with a save in five appearances. He recorded his first multi-homer day against Cal State Bakersfield on May 9, going 3-for-5 with four RBIs. Named to the Bearkat Classic All-Tournament team, belting two homers and driving in four RBIs against Missouri State and collecting a save against Sam Houston State the following day.
