History

Adamantium formed in 1996 after the demise of the band Collapse. In that year, a demo cassette was recorded and a small local fan base was formed. In 1997, the band released the "Tradition" 7" E.P. on Prime Directive Records

On Friday, January 1, 2011, guitarist Dan Sena announced that a reunion was in the works for two shows during Spring 2011. Dates and venues have yet to be set. Sena is quoted, saying "After 10 years, we have decided to do a couple reunion shows tentatively planned for the spring time. Two shows - one in Orange County and the other in Los Angeles. When and where will be announced in the coming months." Due to scheduling conflicts within the band, the reunion dates have been pushed back but continue to still be in the works.
