In another incident, on November 10, 2006 in a game against VFC Plauen
after the final whistle, Ogungbure hit Ukrainian player from the opposing team, Andriy Zapyshnyi in the face with a fist. Zapyschnyi was allegedly verbally racially abusing Ogungbure during the game. Ogungbure was suspended for 4 games (the punishment was below the minimum 6 games suspension because the sports court took into consideration previous cases of abuse against Ogungbure). Zapyshnyi was fined 300 euros.
Later that season in April 2007, FC Energie Cottbus II fans held up racists posters during a game against FC Sachsen Leipzig
