Admiral Radley is a California
-based indie rock
band formed in late 2009.
The band is formed from members of the indie rock bands Grandaddy
(Jason Lytle
and Aaron Burtch) and Earlimart
(Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray). Originally the band name was going to be Grandimart or Earlidaddy, a combination of both band's names. However, after a couple bottles of red wine and a strange encounter with a man who addressed himself as only Admiral Radley, they decided on the name Admiral Radley.
