Adnan Shihab-Eldin

Dr. Adnan Shihab-Eldin has been Acting for the Secretary General for OPEC
(2005). While in this post he was awarded the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic. He joined OPEC as director of the Research Division in August 2001 and is now retired from the Organization. He now holds the post as general director of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
