Biography

Adytum was formed in the Autumn of 2004 by Brendan Dean, Ryan Lewis and Daniel Bonofiglio. Soon after practicing began the trio wrote what is now to be known as Adytum's first battle cry, "The Willow's Haunting". In 2007 after the fall out with their two original members, Dean Williams and Ryan. The second version of Adytum included Marko Vukovic and Chase Burns. 2007 saw the release of the group's first album Echoes of Refuge through Northern Storm Records. From 2007 to 2008 Adytum had their busiest time going on tour with Epicurean and What's He Building In There? including sharing the stage with Augury, Unexpect, Ensiferum, Emeth, Blackguard, The Exalted Piledriver, The Agonsit , Martyr, Neuraxis, Necronomicon, and Quo Vadis.

In December 2008 Adytum entered Voodoo Records to begin work on their 2nd album, Island Infinite with producer Mike Dmitrovic. In April 2009 Brendan stepped down from his rank in Adytum to focus on school. Shortly after Co-Producer of Echoes of Refuge David Clipperton joined the band as their new guitarist and in June 2010 Mark Johnson joined as the new vocalist. With the new line up Adytum plans to finish Island Infinite for a late 2011 release.
