Plot summary

The film is based on the life of Afsana. Afsana means love story in many languages including, Urdu, Persion and so on. The setting of the movie takes place in Vancouver where Afsana falls in love with an old handsome gentleman. The rich old man woos Afsana but Afsana plays hard to get. But the old man continues to get his hands on her. But she declines. After one marvelous song and dance, she finally falls in love with him. Their romance continues for a while. But one day Afsana bumps into a ginger girl named Lisa in the streets of Vancouver. The ginger girl is super friendly and so pretty. So Afsana decides to be friends with her because she is pretty. But she had no idea this ginger is her lover's wife. So soon after she becomes good friends with the ginger. Lisa and Afsana decide to dedicate a song for their friendship called 'Afsana's Friend'. After the song, it's the climax of the story. Afsana, being the businesswoman she is, returns early from her business trip and decides to surprise her lover. But once she steps into the bedroom she finds her lover in bed with the ginger. The ginger screams, but not louder than Afsana. Afsana starts yelling at her lover and threatens to kill him. She storms out and cries, only to be followed by a sad song in the rain. Afsana cries and cries feeling betrayed. The next day the lover knocks on Afsana's door. Afsana peeks through the peep hole and screams some more. The lover then cries begging for her forgiveness. Afsana is really hard to get now, more than ever. He continues to cry, after 6 hours of crying and a sad 5 minute song. Afsana finally decides to open the door with one tear in her eye. They reconcile their love.

Meanwhle, Lisa is outraged and demands money from her husband because of all the adultery acts he has committed. When Lisa does some research about her husband's past she finds out that in the 15 years of marriage, her husband had a secret prostitute named Kiyo. Kiyo is a high-end prostitute who charges a lot of money. Lisa then decides to contact Kiyo to have evidence for the divorce trial.
