member James Robson.
. Said is ready to excommunicate Lalar until fellow Muslim Zahir Arif
convinces him to calm down. Lalar fears Said as does the rest of the prison population and his recent anger has Unit Manager Tim McManus
assign him a special project in treating inmate Omar White
. Lalar and the Muslims then question Said's motives in helping a drug addict such as White whom they view as unsalvageable. In the midst of this, a war between the Muslims and Aryans has been put on hold through interaction sessions involving Aryan leader Vern Schillinger and Said. Aryan inmate James Robson, Schillinger's most sadistic soldier however does not put the war on hold and berates the Muslims with racial epithets as they question Said's commitment to White. Lalar wants to fight back but is urged for the moment to back off from the Aryans. Robson then decides with another Aryan that the best way to send a message to the "herd" is by killing its youngest and weakest member. Lalar is clearly both the youngest and weakest Muslim so he is captured in the work area and then butchered to death by the Aryan inmates. Furious, Said demands an investigation which Warden Glynn
is unable to conduct without evidence. Said then has the Muslims back off as he feels Robson's "day of reckoning" is approaching. Kareem turns out to be right when Robson is kicked out of his White Supremacist organization for receiving a black man's gums in a dental operation.
