Akademgorodok – a major scientific center of Siberia

History
Forest Institute is the oldest, established in 1944 year. The Institute of Physics was established in the 1956 year by academician L. V. Kirensky. The Institute of Computational Modeling SB RAS was established in the 1975. The Institute of Biophysics was established in the 1981.Main science centers of Academgorodok
