, Katsoupakis got into music from the age of 11. He studied piano, classical harmony, and counterpoint. He also took lessons in jazz theory and Jazz piano and seminars on electronic music (ICMC '97). Katsoupakis has been working as a professional keyboard player since 1989. After playing with several bands, in 1994 he joined the band Maskes, which turned out to be one bands of the so-called indie rock
scene of Thessaloniki.
Since 1997 he has carried out orchestration and production for studio recordings and live shows and on various works.
He also appears as a string arranger, Programmer, and producer.
His most commercially acclaimed album (arranged by him) was Sokratis Malamas
's "O Fylakas ki o Vasilias" (2000) (including Greek super hit "Prigipessa").
Two of the albums he did in 2003 became multi-platinum (Eleftheria Arvanitaki

Katsoupakis' debut studio album as an arranger and executive producer was "Zilion" (1997).
's cd : "John John is alive" in which he is also credited for his first time as a sound engineer.
At the beginning of 2011 he appeared as an arranger and pianist in Athens State Hall for Stella Gadedi's "Stis Paryfes tis polis" concert.
