History

On July 1, 1957 Al-Baladiyat ( literally: Municipalities) were formed by the merger of Maslaha Naqil Al-Rakab ( literally: Passenger Transport Department) and Esalet Al-Mai ( literally: Water Liquefaction). In 1977 Al-Baladiyat renamed to Al-Amana , until August 5, 2009 the team renamed again but to Baghdad FC.

Stadium

Since 2011 Baghdad FC have got their own stadium. The Baghdad Stadium holds 5,000 people.
