Al-Karamah Sporting Club is a Syria

They would face Al-Qadisya of Kuwait in the semi-final. The first leg took place in Hims, Syria. The score came out to a 0-0 draw. Al-Karamah being the better side of the match. Al-Karamah had about 15 shots and about 85% of the possession.
The return leg took place in Kuwait. Al-Karamah went ahead unexpectedly in the 14th minutes through Aatef Jenyat
. They would hold on to this lead til the end of the game.
On November 1, 2006, Jeonbuk (South Korea
) defeated Al Karama 2 - 0 in South Korea. In the second match, Al Karama was able to win 2 - 1 in Syria. But lost on aggregate 3-2 giving Jeonbuk the 2006 AFC Champions League title.
