Ali Bahar
Ali khamis Ibrahim Bahar (born 1960 - July 2011) the lead vocals, guitar and organ player is the cutting edge and the most important member in the band due to his outstanding popularity in the region. "the band will break up if Ali Bahar gone" the drummer Wajeeh said during an interview. Bahar grow in Muharraq Bin-Ali neighborhood in a simple family. He started to play music at the age of 12 after he influenced by the Lebanese singer Fairooz,Carlos Santana and Bob Marley. in the 90s Ali Bahar with his band AlEkhwa were almost leading the music market in Bahrain for more than a decade. Now Bahar is considered one of the most famous and influencing Bahraini characters in the 20th century. some People naming him the Bob Marley of the Gulf. "Yeah some people called me Bob Marley, but I have no comments on this" Bahar said. furthermore, he is widely known as the ambassador of the Bahraini Music over the world. Ali Bahar died of a lung infection on July 3, 2011.Band members
