Alan Kendall Duncan, B.S., M.D., F.A.C.P (born, 1965, Shreveport) holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Duncan was born in Shreveport, Louisiana

in 1994; then joined the staff of the Mayo Clinic in 1995. At Mayo, he has held numerous positions including the vice chair for practice in the Division of General Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Duncan serves as medical director of the internationally acclaimed SPARC Innovation Program

into a medical services organization. The program occupies a design studio embedded within a clinical practice to incorporate user-centered design
into the improvement and creation and new health services.
