in May 1898. Making his debut in a Football League Division One match against Sheffield Wednesday on 3 September 1898, the centre-half eventually became club captain and led Liverpool to the championship in 1900-1901

for Scotland and captained his country on 5 occasions.
After leaving the club in 1909, Raisbeck played for Partick Thistle
and Hamilton Academical
, where he eventually became manager, and went on to manage Bristol City

, before returning to Liverpool as a scout.
