The yacht's overall length is 123.5 meters, and her length between the two perpendiculars is 116.50 meters. Her beam is 16.50 meters wide. The displacement of the yacht is 5,933 GRT and her net tonnage is 1,779 NT. The main engines of
Alexander are two MAN with a power rating of 2 x 4025 hp. It can reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots (36.3 km/h) and a cruising speed of 17.2 knots (33.7 km/h).

Alexander has 40 staterooms for her guests, 39 of which are double rooms and one single. The yacht also has a suite for the yacht-owner, which consists of a living room, a bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The yacht has a meeting hall, a conference hall, a private cinema, a large living room, and a small restaurant. There are two outside bars and two jacuzzi and sunbathing areas. The yacht has one helicopter pad.
