and Californian society beauty Patricia de Meek. Alexandra is a cousin of General Sir John Foley

She was educated at Moira House Girls School near Eastbourne
and at the Iberia International Schools, Marbella.
During her life, Alexandra has lived in Marbella, London

and New York.
Alexandra worked for 14 years at the auction house Sotheby’s in the Arms and Armour department. She worked for 9 years in New York at Abernathy MacGregor Scanlon and Robert Marston & Associates. She now runs her own international strategic communications firm Alex Foley and Associates.
She has taken part in several expeditions, including Colonel John Blashford-Snell’s
Kota Mama III Expedition, and she was the Press Officer for the 1996 campaign to raise a part of the RMS Titanic for conservation. She is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Member of the Explorers Club of New York and of the Explorers Club British Chapter.
She is also a Director of the British Memorial Trust UK.
